Women's Cross Country

Ledinsky Earns All-Region Honors at Region 4 Championship

Batavia, IL: The Harper women's cross country team competed Saturday at the Region 4 Championship, hosted by College of DuPage at Settler's Hill Cross Country Course. The meet featured both NJCAA Division II and Division III programs, though team scoring was separated by division.

The Hawks' duo of Kasey Ledinsky and Natalia Pocica continued their strong postseason tradition, finishing side by side in a tightly contested DIII race. Ledinsky earned All-Region honors by placing 5th overall, claiming the final All-Region spot with a time of 21:44. Pocica finished just a half step behind, also clocking 21:44, narrowly missing the top-five distinction.


With the regional meet now complete, the Hawks will turn their attention to the NJCAA DIII National Championship, scheduled for November 8, as they take a well-deserved recovery period before the final race of the season.
