Palatine, IL: The Harper baseball program is proud to announce that seven sophomore student-athletes from the 2025 team have committed to continue their academic and athletic careers at four-year institutions. This talented group has been instrumental in the Hawks' success and now takes the next step toward earning their bachelor's degrees while continuing to compete at the collegiate level.

Leading the group is
Dominic Jacoby, a Region 4 All-Region selection, who has committed to play at NCAA Division I powerhouse University of Louisville. Jacoby has been one of the most dynamic players on the roster, contributing in all phases of the game while showcasing leadership on and off the field.

Also heading to a four-year program at the NCAA level is
Joey Woods, who will continue his career at University of Illinois–Springfield, a top NCAA Division II program. Woods provided valuable innings for the Hawks this season and developed into a reliable presence on the mound.

Two Hawks,
Cameron King and Alex Birt, are set to join Florida National University, an NAIA program that already includes former Hawks Samuel Del Valle and Brian Jensen, creating a strong Harper pipeline to South Florida.

Daniel Aguirre and Derek Costilla have each committed to Judson University, an NAIA school in Elgin, Illinois. Both have contributed meaningful innings and leadership throughout the year, and they'll bring strong work ethics to the Eagles' program.

Finally,
Ryan Anderson will be continuing his career at Saint Xavier University, another NAIA institution located in Chicago. Anderson's versatility and determination have made him a valuable asset to the Hawks and a strong addition to the Cougars' roster.

These commitments reflect the dedication, talent, and growth of Harper's student-athletes and the continued success of the baseball program in developing players for the next level. The Harper Athletics Department congratulates each of these seven sophomores on their achievements and wishes them continued success in the classroom and on the diamond.
