Harper Men's Basketball Earns One NJCAA All-Academic Honor

Palatine, IL: The Harper men's basketball team continued to excel in the classroom during the 2025-26 academic year, earning one NJCAA All-Academic selection while several Hawks received Region 4 All-Academic recognition throughout the fall and spring semesters.

The NJCAA All-Academic Teams recognize student-athletes who complete at least 24 credit hours during the academic year while maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.60 or higher. First Team honors are awarded to student-athletes with a perfect 4.00 GPA, Second Team recognizes GPAs between 3.80 and 3.99, and Third Team honors are awarded to those with GPAs between 3.60 and 3.79.

Vanja Mrduljas earned NJCAA All-Academic Third Team honors.

Region 4 All-Academic honors are awarded to student-athletes who successfully complete at least 12 credit hours during a semester while maintaining a GPA of 3.00 or higher.

Harper had seven student-athletes recognized as Fall Region 4 All-Academic selections: Oscar Engfors, Miloš Merrick, Marin Mrduljas, Vanja Mrduljas, Darrion Pippen, Devyn Samaniego, and Wesley White.

The Hawks followed with five Spring Region 4 All-Academic honorees. Engfors, Marin Mrduljas, Vanja Mrduljas, and Pippen repeated the honor, while Isaiah Manley also earned Spring Region 4 All-Academic recognition.

The Hawks' academic achievements reflect the program's commitment to excellence both on the court and in the classroom, with student-athletes earning recognition at the regional and national levels throughout the 2025-26 academic year.
