ELGIN, Ill. - Kyler Market (Lombard, Ill., Willowbrook) found Chris Hicks (Elk Grove Village, Ill., Elk Grove) for the game-winning basket with 11 seconds to go and the Harper College basketball team held off host Elgin Community College (0-3) on the final possession for a 66-65 victory.
 
Trailing by as many as 12 in the second half, the Hawks (3-1) rallied behind the play inside of Market and Hicks.  Hicks had a team-high 17 points while Market added 16.  Horace Grant (Deerfield, Ill., Deerfield) provided a spark off the bench with 9 points.
 
The team returns to action on Tuesday night against Moraine Valley (2-2) to open a 2-game homestand.  Tipoff is slated for 7:00 and will immediately follow the women's basketball game.
