PALATINE, Ill. – Facing one of the nation's best teams, the Harper College men's basketball team came up on the wrong end of a 73-52 decision against #6 Triton College.
Harper (7-17, 1-7 N4C) trailed 34-25 at halftime and was led in scoring by
Shonnon Barfield (Posen, Ill., Homewood-Flossmoor) with 20 points.
Horace Grant, Jr. (Deerfield, Ill., Deerfield) added 13 points while
Jordan Mack (Hillside, Ill., St. Joseph) scored 11.
For first place Triton (21-3, 8-0), the win was their tenth in a row.
The Hawks close out their three-game homestand when they meet second place Milwaukee (17-7, 6-2) on Wednesday. Tipoff is slated for 7:00 PM.
