SPRINGFIELD, Ill. - The Harper College wrestling team finished in fifth place out of eight teams at the National Duals, which took place on Sunday.

The Hawks lost their first round match to the tournament's eventual runner-up #6 Colby 25-15, but the team rebounded to win their final two matches, defeating #14 Neosho 29-10 before topping rival #19 Lincoln in their final match of the day.

Blake Santi (Roselle, Ill., Lake Park) went 3-0 at 141 pounds and Steven Dewitt (Sterling, Ill., Sterling) went 3-0 at 157 pounds.  Conor Infelise (McHenry, Ill., McHenry) won both of his matches at 125 pounds.

Josh Tardy (Naperville, Ill., Naperville Central) and Michael Summerville (Lombard, Ill., Glenbard West) each won two of their three matches at 149 and 197 pounds, respectively.    Mike Romanelli (Lake in the Hills, Ill., Crystal Lake South) also won a match at 184 pounds for the Hawks, who are listed in the other receiving votes in the NJCAA Div. III poll.

#2 Labette Community College won the meet by routing Colby 39-3 in the final.
