PALOS HILLS, Ill. – The Harper College men's basketball team held a five-point halftime lead on the road at Moraine Valley Community College on Thursday night but could not finish the deal, as they fell 62-56.

Robert Hudson (Hoffman Estates, Ill./Conant) came off the bench to lead the Hawks (2-3) with a game-high 23 points, including five 3-pointers. Admir Suljic (Chicago, Ill. /Lane Tech) added eight points for Harper.

For the Cyclones (2-3), Brian Townsend led the way with 18 points, and Vicpatrick Harris and Niko Cahue each scored 16 points.  Harper shot 42.2 percent  (19-of-45) from the floor, and Moraine Valley shot 45.5 percent (25-of-55).
