RIVER GROVE, Ill. – The tenth-ranked Harper College volleyball team opened the conference season with a sweep at Triton College (25-9, 25-10, 25-15) Tuesday night.

The Hawks (4-1, 1-0 N4C) were led offensively by Daniele Sortino (Elk Grove Village, Ill. /Elk Grove) with eight kills. Sarah Bregenzer (Wauconda, Ill./Mundelein) stood out in the serving game, as she went 12-of-14 with five aces. Adriana Loiacono (Bartlett, Ill./South Elgin) led Harper defensively with 11 digs, and Jillian Hoffman (Arlington Heights, Ill./Hersey) totaled a team-high 11 assists.

Harper opens up its home schedule on Thursday night against N4C foe College of DuPage (0-5, 0-1 N4C). First serve is set for 6:00 PM.
