Box Score Palatine, Ill- A monster performance from sophomore forward Tamara Zivak (/Barrington) led Harper past Elgin Community College. The Hawks trailed by one at the half 30-31, but flipped the script in the second half outscoring Elgin by sixteen points en route to a 73-58 victory.

Zivak led the Hawks with 34 points and 13 rebounds. Angelina Villasin (/Prospect) also turned in an outstanding performance with 27 points and eight assists in the game.

Harper built a four point lead with two minutes to play in the third quarter, but with two minutes to go in the fourth Harper had ballooned its advantage to 13 and never looked back.
The Hawks will head into the New Year brimming with confidence. Next up for Harper is the first N4C matchup of the year as Wright College comes to visit Palatine. The game will tip at 5PM.
