Box Score RIVER GROVE, Ill. – The Harper College women's basketball team suffered a road loss at Triton College on Wednesday night, 88-49. The defeat was the Hawks' ninth consecutive loss.
The Hawks (4-19, 0-8 N4C) trailed 47-18 at halftime. For the game, Harper forward/center Tamara Zivak (/Barrington) led the team with 16 points and four rebounds in 28 minutes off the bench. Kim Herzog (/Buffalo Grove) scored 11, and Nastia Solsaa (Menomonie, Wis. /Menomonie ) added six points and six rebounds. Harper shot 37.5 percent (18-of-48) overall and committed 34 turnovers.
The Trojans (16-8, 5-3 N4C) had five players score 12 or more points, led by Tashianna Walton's 19 points. Taylor Pate had 18 points and eight rebounds, and Candace Madison posted a double-double of 16 points and 14 rebounds. Triton hosted its Pack the Place night in the Robert M. Collins Center gymnasium, which drew 200 fans for the game.
The Hawks will look to pick up their first N4C win next Wednesday, February 10 at College of DuPage ( ). Tipoff is scheduled for 5 PM in Glen Ellyn.
