PALATINE, IL-  In a true head scratcher, in a tiebreak situation for the #2 and #3 seeds in the Region IV tournament, the Hawks were "awarded" the #3 seed, while Madison College took the higher spot.

Despite Harper defeating Madison in their most recent match, defeating Madison 4-3 in sets this season, and having scored more points while allowing less points, Region IV deemed Harper worthy of hosting the #6 seed Milwuakee Area Technical College Stormers in the Quarterfinal match on Wednesday.  In two meetings against the Stormers this season, the Hawks have not lost a set while outscoring Milwaukee 175-89 in points.

Harper will be hosting the entire Region IV tournament, beginning Wednesday, October 24 and finishing up on Saturday, October 27.
