Hawks women's basketball coach Sean Stochl will be stepping down from his position after the 2019 season.
 
In Stochl's first season with the team, the Hawks finished 7-21 and 4-10 in N4C play.  The 7 overall wins were the program's most since 2014-15 and the 4 conference wins were topped only by the 2012-13 team.  
 
"I really enjoyed my time coaching women's basketball" Stochl said. "I'm excited for my new position on campus, but I will dearly miss coaching women's basketball." 
 
Coach Stochl will be taking a new position as Assistant Athletics and Sports Information Director. He will remain as the head coach of the men's basketball team.
