Madison College May 7th 2021

Harper started the scoring right away in the third minute when Nasser Hamad (/Stevenson) played a nice pass to Christopher Stanczyk (/South Elgin), who then flicked the ball one touch to Yuriy Kopytko (/Rolling Meadows). Yuriy chested the ball down and volleyed a beautiful shot off the crossbar and into the goal. 15 minutes later off of a Alan Alfaro () goal kick, Jason Rivas (/Wheeling) was able to flick a header on to Anthony Duarte (/) for a nice finish to make it 2-0. Madison was able to get a goal in The 33rd minute to end the half 2-1.

Madison came out strong in the second half, scoring a goal 4 minutes after the halftime whistle. 3 minutes later Adan Ramirez (/Rolling Meadows) fouled a Madison player in the box to give up a penalty kick which they converted to make it 3-2 Madison. In the 73rd minute off of a Harper corner and a scramble in front of the net, Nassar Hamad shot was blocked in front and Jason Rivas (/Wheeling) was able to back heel a shot into the goal to tie it. Harper continued the pressure until the final minute. A turnover by Madison resulted in Yuriy Kopytko (/Rolling Meadows) playing a through ball to Nasser Hamad (/Stevenson) who finished the pass by the goalkeeper. To put the Hawks ahead with 20 seconds left to go in the game. Alan Alfaro () with 2 great saves in goal.

This win capped off the undefeated season for the Hawks!

They will be back in action Saturday May 15th at Harper College.
