May 5th, 2021 Harper College

Harper was to a great first half start. Jason Rivas (/Wheeling) played a great through ball with the outside of his right foot to Anthony Duarte (/) who beat several defenders and opened up the scoring in the 20th minute of the match. Several minutes later, goalie Alan Alfaro () made a big save diving to his left to keep Joliet from tying the game. Nasser Hamad (/Stevenson) found the back of the net from a Chris Stanczyk assist in the 29th minute (Nasser's goal was off a counter attack with a nice finish into the far corner). In the 38th minute, Yuriy Kopytko (/Rolling Meadows) fired a low shot that the goalie was unable to handle to put the Hawks up 3-0 at the half.

3 minutes into the second half, Paul Afonrinwo (/Palatine) found the back of the net to score his first career goal for Harper college, the assist came from Jason Rivas (/Wheeling), his second of the game.

Joliet was able to score 2 minutes later on an unfortunate deflection. Alan Alfaro () ended the game with 2 saves in goal.
