Box Score Harper struggled early into the game. The team could not find their rhythm throughout the game and IVCC capitalized on all their opportunities.

Scoring started in the first half for IVCC when a routine shot at Kyle Varela (/Palatine High School) went right through his legs and into the goal. Our Hawks ended the half down 1-0 looking to find a way to capitalize on their mistakes in the second 45. The beginning of the second half saw IVCC score 2 quick goals in the first 3 minutes and the Hawks struggled to recover at this point. IVCC scored one more goal leaving the score 4-0.

The Hawks were able to get manufacture 2 goals late. One from Jonathan Rivas (/Elk Grove High School ) and one from Aaron Bustamante (/Palatine High School). Both were assisted by Patrick Hopkins (/Jacobs High school). IVCC scored within a minute after the Hawks second goal and the game ended 5-2. Coach Watson expressed " (We) Can't take anything away from IVCC as they were the far better team, but I know we did not play to our normal level at all."

The Hawks are back in action on 9/16/2021, taking on Waubonsee Community College 4:00pm start at Home in the Stadium.
