Women's Soccer is Back in Action! 

"This was a great first game for us and a Great way for our team to come out, and start the season." (Coach Lemberg expressed) For the Hawks this has been a long awaited start for their season. In the Fall of 2020 and the Spring of 2021 due to Covid and changing of seasons, it was in the best interest of the student athletes not to compete then.  

But on Saturday against IVCC the Hawks were ready to compete! The Hawks fired off 40 SHOTS on goal and Gen Randi had a hat trick plus one -four goals. Lemberg talked after the game, "this showed where we are at technically, tactically, physical and psychologically as a team. For me, the mental part of the game stood out the most." 

The Hawks were able to make adjustments during the game. Which is a great sign of a team showing the ability to grow and develop rapidly. Going along with in game adjustments Angelina Andreozzi (/Conant ) had seven SAVES and Lesly Soto (/William Fremd High School) SAVED four in goal. Both teams were exhausted, Coach Lemberg  "was very proud in how the team was able to push through and find a little more to get over the hump to a victory." 

The Hawks will take on RVC 9/18/2021
