Men's Soccer faces #6 ranked Madison College-

The Hawks strike first by opening the game with a goal in the 12th minute. The Goal came off a nice pass through the box from
Adrian Panocha (/James B Conant High School) which found
Aaron Bustamante (/Palatine High School), who was able to finish the strike past the goalkeeper. The Hawks continued to turn up the pressure, and from that pressure earned a free kick around the half line.
Jonathan Rivas (/Elk Grove High School ) headed the free kick past the oncoming keeper and put the Hawks up 2-0. Madison shifted the pressure and was able to get one goal back in the 33rd minute, and that would end the scoring for the first half.Â
Coach Watson felt, "It was nice to be able to get two goals on them (Madison) in the first half, especially playing into the wind."
Second half started out back and forth with chances coming from both teams. Madison eventually found their equalizer with 12 minutes left to go in the game. This goal came off of a free kick that found a wide open player. Who was able to shoot the touch past
Kyle Varela (/Palatine High School). The second half would end 2-2. Â

5 minutes into the overtime,Â
Osvaldo Rodriguez (/Dundee-Crown High School ) was fouled in the box. Which awarded Harper a penalty kick.
Aaron Bustamante (/Palatine High School) handled the penalty kick by scoring with the pressure on, and the wind in his face ending the game!
Our Hawks upset 6th ranked Madison College and the Hawks next match will be today against Elmhurst College away.  Â
