The Hawks (9-11) win their second conference game of the season and ninth overall by taking down MATC 71-67. The hawks made a season high 13 made 3pt field goals that came along with a season high 13 assists.

Kyle Thomas. The Hawks had three players score in double figures (
Emily Rich (/Crystal Lake South) 23,
Isabella Gebala (/Prospect HIgh School) 20 and
Kelsie Campbell (/Rolling Meadows High School) 13) and 4 players recording 5 or more rebounds (Campbell 9, Rich 9, Wadas 5 and Aviles 5).
"I loved the way we attacked the paint all game" commented Coach Thomas when speaking about the hawks 27 total free throws attempted. "When we get into the paint good things happen".
Isabella Gebala (/Prospect HIgh School) led the team with 12 total free throws, knocking down 7 of them.
This is the first win over MATC since 2013 and the first time the hawks have hit the 9-win total since 2018. "These players are changing the culture of Harper hoops and people are starting to take notice," said Coach Thomas.
The Hawks will take on Rock Valley on Thursday at 5:00pm at Harper College.
