The Hawks came out strong and never looked back in game one. In the 2nd and 3rd inning the team generated 9 runs in game one. The team was was 13 for 28 at the plate, behind the bats of Joey Fitzgerald,
Aidan Teahan (Park Ridge, IL/Maine South High School),
Julio Cajigas (Romeoville, IL/Romeoville High School), and
George Betevis (Hanover Park, IL/Bartlett High School).
Kaden Gray (Wyoming, ON/LCCVI) had a day at the plate, he was on base 3 time with a Double, Hit by Pitch and Base on Balls.
Justin Rohde (Cary, IL/Marian Central Catholic) gets the win for the Hawks. Going 5 innings with 6 strikeouts and only allowing 3 hits and 3 earned runs.
In Game two the Hawks put it together at the plate, on the mound and in the field to solidify the win! The Hawks carved out 9 runs from their 13 hits.
