Box Score Madison, Wi: 9/15/2022
This marks the third game of the year for the Harper Hawks women's soccer team. Coach Lemberg felt "this game was tough because we lost... but it was a GREAT third game for us. Our team keep's kicking when their down, pushing back when their backed up and working hard all over the pitch!"  Harper continues to get better every half, statistically, it's one of the main goals the Hawks have for this season. For the Wednesday night game it came down to overtime and Madison scoring on a penalty kick to win the game. Megan Kleve (/Hersey) had 15 saves from the shots taken on goal and Coach Lemberg could not be more proud of his goalies efforts! Overall take from the game - defensively Harper frustrated Madison's offense, and made it extremely difficult for them to produce much in the final third of the field.  Â
Genevieve Rendl (/Dundee-Crown) had Harper's only goal.Â
Women's soccer takes on Kishwaukee this Saturday at HOME!
