This was the second meet of the year for the
Harper Hawks Cross Country Team, and they fared well
against the
completion.
The Women: placed 2
nd of 8 in their respected race. Lilly Alberst finished 3
rd (20:31.0) out of 51 total women's runners,
Samira Rosenfeld finished 13
th (22:38.4), Brianna Ruiz finished 14
th (22:38.5),
Danielle Giovenco (/Hoffman Estates) finished 23
rd (23:45.9) and
Araxi Boghossian finished 43
rd (26:52.1).
The Men: placed 3
rd of 8 in their respected race.
Albert Szewczyk (/Buffalo Grove ) finished 10
th (17:47.8) out of 61 total men's runners,
Remy Jankusky (/Hersey) finished 11
th (17:49.4),
Luis Castro (/Dundee-Crown) finished 21
st (18:54.9),
Trevor May (/Crystal Lake Central) finished 23
rd (18:59.2),
Marcos Jaimes (/Schaumburg) finished 34
th (19:46.7),
Adam Toren (/Elgin) finished 45
th (21:19.6), Chris Gama finished 50
th (21:54.2).
The Hawks will be running in action this Saturday at Aurora University.
