7th Annual NJCAA Day

A Million Reasons Why

NJCAA Day is an annual day to recognize the impact the NJCAA has on student-athletes, staff, and fans of the association. The theme for this year's celebration is A Million Reasons Why which will highlight the opportunities the NJCAA has created.

We asked Harper athletes and staff what opportunities and impact the NJCAA has had on them:

    Cana Jones - Sophomore
    Volleyball, Softball

    "Competing in the NJCAA gave me the opportunity to compete in both of my sports, continue my education, amd work at an on campus job. It has given me the opportunity to experiment with my career options and meet amazing     people and teammates. Most importantly, completing in the NJCAA will help set me up for success at whatever four year university I attend!"


Svetlozara Uvakova - Sophomore

"The NJCAA allowed me to discover my love for a new sport that I never thought I would be a part of. It taught me that with hard work I can achieve anything I put my mind to. It motivated me to keep pushing for bigger opportunities in my future. It taught me how to be confident, manage my time better, and work together as a team to achieve bigger goals than as an individual."
