Hawks Fall to #23 Chiefs at Home

Box Score Palatine, IL: The Harper men's basketball team faced a tough challenge Wednesday night, hosting the nationally ranked #23 Waubonsee Chiefs in a Region 4 matchup.

The Chiefs controlled the game from the start, taking a 35-22 lead into halftime. Harper struggled to find its rhythm offensively, hampered in part by the absence of starting guard
Andre Anderson. Waubonsee capitalized on their strong defense and efficient scoring to maintain their lead throughout the game.

Three Hawks scored in double figures, with
Amari Northcutt leading the way with 14 points. Darrion Pippen and Luke Sinisa added 10 points each, with Sinisa also grabbing an impressive 10 rebounds to record a double-double. Despite these efforts, Harper was unable to close the gap against a well-rounded Chiefs squad.

The loss drops the Hawks to 2-12, while Waubonsee continues to prove why they are one of the top teams in the nation.
