Hawks Host Great Lakes District Duals, Earn Win Over Henry Ford

Palatine, IL: The Hawks wrestling team hosted the Great Lakes District Duals on November 22, competing in three duals against strong regional opponents. The Hawks finished the day 1-2, earning a decisive 46-3 victory over Henry Ford College while coming up short against Muskegon (30-19) and Southwestern Michigan (24-16).

Leading the way for Harper was Lennon Steinkuehler, who turned in an outstanding performance by going 3-0 with two technical falls and a pin. Steinkuehler's dominance set the tone for the Hawks throughout the day.

Maguire Hoeksema and Jesus Saavedra also delivered strong efforts, each finishing 2-0 in their matches. Their consistency helped Harper remain competitive across all three duals.

The Hawks will return to action on December 6 at the MSOE Invitational in Milwaukee, where they will look to build on their home performance and continue developing momentum heading into the winter schedule.
