Hawks Finish Sixth at MSOE Invitational

Milwaukee, WI: The Hawks wrestling team put together a strong showing at the MSOE Invitational on December 6, placing sixth out of 15 teams in a deep field that included several nationally recognized programs. The Hawks finished behind Augsburg, Stevens Tech, Milwaukee School of Engineering, Wisconsin–Eau Claire, and the University of Chicago.

Leading the way for Harper was Aiden Cohen (165 lbs), who turned in an impressive performance by going 4-1 to claim second place. Cohen's consistent effort throughout the tournament continued to establish him as one of the Hawks' top competitors.

At 157 lbs, Maguire Hoeksema also had a productive day, finishing 4-2 to take fourth place. Samuel Sikorsky (133 lbs) battled through a tough bracket and earned sixth place, adding another podium finish for the Hawks.

With three wrestlers placing and multiple strong performances across the lineup, the Hawks continued to demonstrate their depth and steady progress. Harper will return to action on December 13 at the 35th Annual Art Kraft Memorial Tournament, hosted by Triton College.
