Palatine, IL: The Harper College Hawks continue to shine in the classroom as well as in competition, earning four NJCAA All-Academic Team honors for the 2024–25 academic year and celebrating 68 student-athletes who received individual NJCAA All-Academic recognition.
Harper's women's cross country team led the way, finishing 4th in the nation among all NJCAA programs in team GPA. The men's cross country team also posted one of the top academic performances in the country, ranking 6th nationally. Harper's women's track & field team finished 11th, while the softball program also earned All-Academic Team distinction.
To qualify as an NJCAA All-Academic Team, programs must achieve a cumulative team GPA of 3.0 or higher. Harper's continued success reflects the dedication of its student-athletes, coaches, and academic support staff.
In addition to the team honors, 68 individual Hawks were named to the NJCAA All-Academic team, earning recognition across all three academic tiers:
- NJCAA All-Academic First Team: GPA of 4.00
- NJCAA All-Academic Second Team: GPA of 3.80–3.99
- NJCAA All-Academic Third Team: GPA of 3.60–3.79
