Harper College softball dropped a 10-2 decision to Rock Valley at Rockford on Friday. Lex Filler reached base two times. She singled in the fourth inning. Paige Ward showed good control, allowing no walks. The Hawks' pitcher pitched 3 2/3 innings, allowing three earned runs and seven hits while striking out one. Rock Valley's Laura Van Wy, Katelyn Johnson, Vivi Marquez and Kara Ekk combined for seven hits and five RBIs.
