Harper College softball wound up on the wrong side of a 14-0 score on Friday at Rockford, tasting defeat at the hands of Rock Valley.
It was a good day at the plate for the Hawks'
Jaz Skor. Skor went 1-2. She singled in the first inning.
Stephanie Bynes put together a nice outing. Rock Valley managed just one hit off of the Hawks' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three during her two innings of work. The game was never in doubt after the first, as Rock Valley scored four runs on a fielder's choice, two steals of home, and a hit by pitch. Rock Valley built upon its lead with 10 runs in the second.

M.J. Patten. That was followed up by
Kara Ekk's triple, bringing home Marquez.
