Harper College Softball Takes 7-4 Loss to Madison College

Jaz Skor did all she could to give Harper College Hawks a boost, but it wasn't enough to get past Madison College, as Harper College  lost 7-4 in seven innings at Madison on Sunday. Skor led the Hawks' offensive threat, as she got on base two times in the game. She also drove in one runner. She tripled in the second inning. In the bottom of the first, Madison College grabbed the early lead, 3-0. Madison  then tacked on more runs when Shaner scored on an RBI single by Hanke and Hanke scored on an error. The Hawks matched their one-run second inning with one more in the seventh. In the second, Harper scored on an RBI triple by Skor, bringing home Megan Kollemeyer. Madison  stayed on top until the final out after taking the lead in the third, scoring two runs on a sacrifice fly by Houland and an RBI single by Bell. Madison built upon its lead with two runs in the sixth. A hit into a fielder's choice scored Edgren to get the Wolf Pack on the board in the inning.
