Harper College Hawks lost a battle of the bats on Friday at Harper, falling short in a 11-10 ballgame against College of Dupage.
Amanda Forssander (Mount Prospect, Ill./Prospect) had two extra-base hits for Harper College Hawks. She singled in the third inning, tripled in the fifth inning, and doubled in the seventh inning.
Rachel D got the win for College of Dupage despite allowing 10 runs over seven innings. She struck out three, walked three and surrendered nine hits.

Three runs in the bottom of the fifth helped Harper College Hawks close its deficit to 8-6. An RBI triple by
Paige Ward (Palatine, Ill./Conant), an error, and a groundout by Jaz Skor gave Harper College Hawks life. Keegan grounded out to end the Harper College Hawks threat.
