Harper College Hawks fell 12-2 to Joliet JC Wolves on Saturday.
 
Jess Dubrock led Harper College Hawks' offensive threat, as she got on base two times in the game. She singled in the third inning.
 
Kelsey Gilboy got it done on the rubber on the way to a win. She allowed one run over three innings. She struck out three, walked five and surrendered two hits.
 
The Wolves' Stephanie Stanton, Katelyn Gretz and Gilboy combined for two hits and four RBIs.
 
The lead stayed with the Wolves after the second, when it scored six runs on a passed ball, a two-run single by Stanton, a walk by Gilboy, and a wild pitch.
 
Joliet  tacked on another five runs in the third. A wild pitch scored Miranda Lawson to start the scoring in the inning. That was followed up by Gilboy's single, scoring Gretz.
 
After pushing across one run in the bottom of the third, The Hawks faced just a 11-1 deficit. A wild pitch sparked Harper College Hawks' rally. Jaz Skor to end the Harper threat.
 
After pushing across one run in the bottom of the fifth, Harper College Hawks faced just a 12-2 deficit. An RBI single by Paige Ward (Palatine, Ill./Conant) gave The Hawks life. The game went final when Skor struck out.
