Jaz Skor did all she could to give The Hawks a boost, but it wasn't enough to get past Joliet  Wolves, as theHawks lost 8-3 in seven innings at Palatine, Illinois on Saturday.
 
It was a good day at the plate for the Hawks' Skor. Skor went 3-4 and scored two runs. She singled in the first, third, and fifth innings.
 
Karli Beauchamp got the win for Joliet. She allowed three runs over seven innings. She struck out 12, walked three and surrendered four hits.
 
The Wolves' Stephanie Stanton, Michelle Grove and Beauchamp combined for eight hits and five RBIs.
 
Joliet  scored one run in the fifth inning, and then followed it up with one more in the seventh. In the fifth, the Wolves scored on an RBI single by Beauchamp, scoring Grove.
