PALATINE, Ill. The Hawks collected six hits, but  fell 13-1 to Rock Valley at Harper on Saturday.

Steph Bolger had a hot bat for the Hawks. Bolger went 1-for-1. She singled in the second inning.

Steph Ennis recorded the win for Rock Valley. She allowed one run over five innings. Ennis struck out three, walked none and gave up six hits.
Rock Valley never surrendered the lead after the first inning, scoring four runs on two passed balls and a two-run single by Vivi Marquez.
Rock Valley tacked on another eight runs in the second. A clutch wild pitch scored Kayla Strickland to open the scoring in the frame.
Harper managed to score one run in the second inning on an RBI single by Devan Swank.
