Hawks Fall to Kankakee

Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 Kankakee, IL: The Hawks lost both games of a double-header against Kankakee yesterday. The first game finished 2-9 while the second game was much closer and finished 10-11.

Game 1
The Cavs got out to an early lead and never looked back. Brianna Linnemann started for the Hawks striking out five. The Hawks were limited to just four hits but included a home run from Cana Jones and a double from Kate Peabody. Linnemann had two singles.

Game 2
The Hawks had a 10-4 lead after the third inning but the Cavs chipped away with seven runs over the last three innings.

Ashley Harrison had a home run and a double. Linnemann added a double and two singles as well.

Olivia Gould, Linnemann, and Jones all pitched for the Hawks.

Their next game will be at Waubonsee on Thursday.
