Ex-Louisville INF/RHP Nick Drtina Leads 4 Hawks Additions

Palatine, IL: The 2025 Hawks baseball team is gearing up for a transformative season with a dramatically revamped roster. Under the direction of Coach Milano and his staff, the Hawks have welcomed 31 new players this spring, including four standout mid-season additions.  

Leading the group is Nick Drtina, a dynamic RHP/INF from Lemont, IL. Drtina began his collegiate journey at Division I powerhouse Louisville University before transferring to Harper. A top-40 high school recruit, Drtina's impressive resume includes three All-Conference selections and All-State honors during his sophomore year.  

Adding depth to the pitching staff are Skyler and Collin Duffy (no relation). Skyler, a right-handed pitcher from Ohlone College, brings collegiate experience and competitiveness to the mound. Collin, another right-hander, joins Harper after spending the semester at Quincy University.  

Rounding out the second-semester additions is utility player Will Hickey, transferring from Triton College. Hickey, a versatile talent, earned back-to-back All-Conference and All-Area honors as a junior at Hersey High School.
