Hawks Keep Rolling with Strong Performances at Walt Cramer Invitational

Bourbonnais, IL: The Hawks women's track and field team continued to build momentum in their third meet of the season, competing at the Walt Cramer Invitational hosted by Olivet Nazarene University at the Perry Center in Bourbonnais. The trio of Kasey Ledinsky, Lucy Reyna, and Hannah Schulz once again delivered a series of personal bests and national-qualifying performances.

Ledinsky had a busy day, competing in three events and setting personal bests in both the mile and 800m. She clocked 5:55.50 in the mile and 2:36.52 in the 800m, with the latter meeting the NJCAA national qualifying standard. She also competed in the shot put, continuing to show her versatility as a multi-event contributor.

Reyna matched her national-qualifying mark in the pole vault, clearing 7' 6.5", while also setting another personal best in the 200m, lowering her time to 30.27.

Schulz remained one of the Hawks' most consistent performers, delivering another outstanding meet in the throws. She recorded a personal best in the shot put, throwing 34' 4.75" (10.48m), and added a solid mark of 34' 4.75" (10.48m) in the weight throw, maintaining her momentum from earlier in the season.

The Hawks will return to action on February 13th at the Chicagoland Indoor Championships, hosted by North Central College in Naperville.
