Hawks Continue Strong Start at Chicago Collegiate Invitational

Chicago, IL: The Hawks women's track and field team continued their early-season progress at the Chicago Collegiate Invitational, held at the Dr. Conrad Worrill Track & Field Center at Gately Park. With only three athletes competing, the Hawks still managed an impressive showing highlighted by multiple personal bests and another national qualifier.

Lucy Reyna hit a major milestone by meeting the national qualifying standard in the pole vault, clearing 7' 6.5" to meet the qualifying standards for the NJCAA Championships. She also posted an indoor personal best in the 200m, running 30.67 to round out a strong performance.

Hannah Schulz led the Hawks in the throws with a dominant day, setting personal bests in both the shot put and weight throw. She launched the weight 38' 4.75" and the shot 32' 11.75", continuing to build on her excellent start to the season.
